We are a hobby breeder of working-line German Shepherd Dogs. We have been involved in Schutzhund for 16 years and have had the pleasure of training with some of the finest Schutzhund competitors in the world. As a result, we have come to appreciate the temperament and working ability of the working line german shepherd dog.
Temperament is important…
We have three small children, and our dogs are an integral part of our family. Therefore, sound temperament is a must. We are not, however, interested in owning a shepherd with a golden retriever personality (there’s nothing wrong with a good golden, just not for us).
We breed for dogs that have enough drive and hardness to easily complete Schutzhund titles, and go on to higher competition. Everyone knows that it is no fun trying to title a dog that doesn’t have what it takes. In trying to produce dogs that have the drive to compete in Schutzhund sport, we tend to have dogs that are stable minded but sometimes have too much drive for the average dog owner.
It’s been our experience that it is very important that new owners make the commitment to properly socialize and train these dogs. If this type of dogs sounds like it might fit your household, please feel free to contact us.
German Shepherd Puppies
We produce no more than one or two litters per year and therefore only have puppies available occasionally. We are proud of our dogs and endeavor to produce the type of puppy we would like to own ourselves. On occasion, we know of other high quality puppies available and post their details on this site. Placement
Our philosophy on placing our puppies is as follows… We only look to place puppies in homes that we feel have the potential to be “forever” homes. We’re proud of our puppies and work hard to select the best possible breeding partners based on temperament, health, working ability and confirmation — in that order.
